DOGTV: The First TV Channel Programmed Just For Dogs
When we leave our dogs home alone, we can't help but wonder what our four-legged friends will be up to when we're gone. When they give us those puppy dog eyes, we can't help but feel bad that they're going to be left home alone and bored or even sad. Well, now there's a solution that will make us feel a little better about leaving our pups home alone!
According to People Magazine, there is now a TV channel for dogs! DOGTV provides friendly programming scientifically developed to provide the right company for dogs when left alone. The first all-dog programming channel is now available on Comcast, RCN, DIRECTV, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon FireTV, and as an iOS or Android app.
After years of research, including picking the brains of the world's top pet experts, and testing the "shows" on dog focus groups, DOGTV came up with programming groups that will allow your dog to relax, stay mentally stimulated and will help them with separation anxiety.
DOGTV partnered up with The Humane Society of the United States on the unique project as the doggie programming is great for dogs who are home alone but also for shelter dogs, who use the channel to keep their dogs calm and mentally stimulated while they spend time in the cages and in small quarters for long hours.
